- Select the Work with batches menu item.
- You access Batch maintenance. You can use the following fields to search for a specific batch:
- Item
- Whs
- Batch
- Creation date range
- On the detail panel, you can change the following fields:
- Hold
- Set to YES if you want to hold this batch from further processing.
- Country of origin
- Defaults from the Item file when the batch is created, but can be changed.
- Batch retention days
- This value is defaulted from the Item file and denotes the number of days that batch information must be saved, after the Last delivery date of this item, before it can be deleted via the Reorganise batch file routine. This value can be changed.
- User def date 1 – 2 text
- If headings were specified in the User def date 1 – 2 text fields in the Item file, Inventory information panel, they will be the field labels displayed here at the bottom of the panel. These fields are used for informational purposes only.
- The system automatically updates the following fields:
- Supplier
- Retrieved from the purchase order at Reception note confirmation or manually entered at Inventory transaction entry.
- Bin location
- Entered at Reception note confirmation.
- Creation date
- The date when the batch was created. This field is used to automatically retrieve the oldest batch during pick list printout. This field is only used for items that are not date handled.
- Last reception date
- Updated during reception.
- Last dispatch date
- Updated during delivery.
- Stock take status
- Updated by the stock take routine.
- Last stock take date
- Updated by the stock take routine.
- You access Batch maintenance where you can enter free format text for each batch. Click OK twice.
- You access Batch maintenance, Stock information, displaying warehouse information about the batch. The information is automatically updated by the system and cannot be changed manually. You can also maintain free format text from this panel by clicking the Additional text function key. Maintain the applicable information then exit the routine.
Select the batch that you want to maintain and click Change.
If you want to include text with the batch information, click the Additional text function key.
