Working with A/R transactions

Invoices and credit notes in A/R can be maintained regarding most information. Settled invoices, credit notes or redefinition documents can be maintained regarding the export code, interest stop code, which is needed if interest handling method 1 is used, and document text.

You also have the possibility to cancel a settlement. The system automatically re-opens the settled document and reverses related G/L postings.

You can maintain the following transactions:

  • A/R invoices
  • A/R credit notes
  • A/R payments
  • A/R instalments

For sundry debtors you can maintain extra information regarding name, address and bank information to be able to communicate with the financial institution.

For a forced payment mode additional payment information can be entered.

Enquiries and printouts

  • A/R transaction and balance enquiry
  • Print the A/R transaction list or A/R balance list to obtain details of transactions. You can select the items you want to list through the Document type or Debtor number fields.
  • Print the Cancel settlement list to view the main settlement documents for which settlements have been cancelled. If any G/L accountings were created, from e.g. difference documents, then G/L update journals will also be printed.
