Reminder proposals are used in the process of creating and issuing reminders. A reminder proposal reflects a debtor’s overdue payments situation at the time of creation.
Creating individual reminder routines for specific debtors enables you to optimize the handling of invoices due for payment and the issuing and distribution of reminders.
The Reminder proposal functionality allows you to split proposals by, e.g., internal organisation or customer-related identifications. Most information driving a reminder routine is contained in the reminder rule.
Reminder template handling is implemented in this program. This means that the last used sequence, selection, and specification criteria are stored in the Template file for your DC1 user profile. The saved values are defaulted the next time you access this program. The defaulted values can be changed.
See Processing reminder proposals for further information.
Enquiries and printouts
- A/R transactions enquiry. The R column indicates how many reminders you have issued for each document.
- A/R balances enquiry
- A/R credit information enquiry
- A/R credit time axis enquiry
- Reminder control list. The reminders included in the proposal and the documents related to each reminder are printed on the control list. A control list is useful in order to analyze the details included in the proposal before you print, update, or issue the reminders. Printing a control list will not change the proposal status.
- Reminder. Paper distributed reminders can be printed several times. But, e-distributed reminders cannot be re-sent by mail. You could print a paper copy and send it by normal mail, or you could create a PDF file of the reminder and send it as attachment to an e-mail.
- Reminder rules & degrees. All reminder rules and degrees that exist in the system are printed.
