Set up an account completion rule

The following describes how to set up an account completion rule for account part 1 (in this case, account part 1 is the main account).

  1. Select the Work with account completions menu item.
  2. On the main panel, click Add.
  3. You access Work with account completions. Complete the following fields:
  4. From account part number
    Enter the account part number of the account that will be completed with one or more accounts in other account parts.
    From account number
    Enter the account number that will be completed with one or more accounts in other account parts.
    To account number
    Enter the account(s) that will complete the account combination. Completion with only asterisks is not allowed.
    Start date
    Enter the date from which this completion rule is valid.
    End date
    Enter the date to which this completion rule is valid.

    Click OK after you have completed your information. Exit the routine.
