The following describes how to set up budget numbers and determine what statistics keys to include in your budget. A statistics key is a system or custom defined key that is used, for example, to represent a main account code.
- Select the Work with budget numbers menu item.
- On the main panel, click Add.
- You access the detail panel. Enter the budget number and name. Click OK.
- You access Work with budget numbers, Select key numbers. At this stage you must decide which statistic keys you want the budget to be structured on. This will depend on how detailed you want the information to be. Select the budget key number to which you want to map a statistic key (i.e. account part, summary identity).
- You access Selectable keys showing all available statistic keys. Select the statistic key you want to use for this budget key number.
- You return to Work with budget numbers, Select key numbers. Repeat the two steps above until all applicable statistic keys are selected. Click OK to update the budget number. Exit the routine.
