Add workload restrictions to a work centre

  1. Select the Work with work centres menu item.
  2. You access Work with work centre. Select the applicable work centre and click Change capacity.
  3. You access Work centre capacity maintenance, Capacity in decimal (minutes). Click Add restrictions.
  4. You access Workload restriction creation where you can create workload restrictions for specific dates. You define a time period during which the restriction should be applied to the selected work centre. Within the time period you can also specify weekdays and a frequency defining how often the restrictions should be created. Complete the following fields:
    5. Group
    Enter the workload restriction group that should be connected to the work centre.
    Date from
    Enter the first date for restriction creation.
    Restriction on
    Indicate, for all seven days of the week, the days for which restriction should be created. If, for example, you set Monday to YES, restriction will be created for all Mondays during the time period specified in Date from and Horizon date.
    Note: Use the Frequency field to limit the number of restriction days within the specified time period.
    Frequency
    Enter a value indicating how often the restrictions should be created within the time period specified in Date from and Horizon date. Permitted values are:
    Code Frequency
    1 Every week
    2 Every second week
    3 Every third week
    4 Every fourth week
    5 Every fifth week
    Horizon date
    Enter the last date for restriction creation.

    Click OK and then return to the previous panel.

  5. On Work centre capacity maintenance, Capacity in decimal (minutes) workload restrictions have now been added to the days that were specified in the creation. The Restricted group column displays the workload restriction group that has been connected to the selected days. You have several options on this panel. You can:
    • Add more restrictions to the work centre by clicking Add restrictions and repeating step 4. Multiple restrictions can be defined for a specific work centre and date.
    • Select a date for which a restriction group has been specified and click Restrictions. You will access Workload restriction maintenance. On this panel you can:
      • Change the workload restriction group that is connected to the selected date by entering a new restriction group in Group and clicking OK.
      • Click Delete twice to remove the restriction from the selected date.

Exit the routine.
