Manufacturing order creation/maintenance using the manufacturing order entry routine

Related topics

Manufacturing orders can be created manually from the Manufacturing order entry routine, but they can also be created from other sources besides this routine. See About creating manufacturing orders from other routines than manufacturing order entry for more information:

When creating manufacturing orders manually using the Manufacturing order entry routine, you can choose to copy an existing bill of material and bill of routing, or create unique ones for the current manufacturing order. When copying a bill of material and bill of routing, you can also modify both the bill of material and the bill of routing.

As you work your way through the different stages in the manufacturing order cycle, the system will automatically assign status codes to the manufacturing order. Click to expand each section.
