The work centre used for the manufacturing order controls if operation cards should be printed, as well as the number of copies.
The manufacturing order type determines from where the operation card will be printed. There are two permitted values in the Print operation card at field:
- 1= the operation card will be printed when ordering shop floor documents. (See Print shop floor documents for a manufacturing order for instructions).
- 2 = the operation card will be printed individually from the detail planning module.
Note: If Print operation card at for the order type in the Manufacturing order type table is set to 2 and the manufacturing order status is 10, all other shop floor documents will be printed when you order a printout of the operation card.
The following describes how to print operation cards when Print operation card at for the manufacturing order type is set to 2.
- Select the Plan manufacturing order details menu item.
- You access Manufacturing order detail planning. Complete the following fields:
- Department section
- Enter a department section. If information is entered in this field, Work centre must be left blank. For this task, leave blank.
- Work centre
- Enter a work centre. If information is entered in this field, Department section must be left blank.
- Alternative
- Indicate what the detail planning should display by ticking one of the following: Total priority, Priority per day. For this task, tick Total priority.
- View
- Indicate what the detail planning should display by ticking one of the following: Time, Quantity,Tools or Current operation. For this task, tick Time.
- Time: You will view the remaining time and the set-up time.
- Quantity: You will view the remaining quantity.
- Tools: You will view the tools and the production technology code.
- Current operation: You will view the current operation, the work centre and the status.
- You access Manufacturing order detail planning, Total priority. Select the applicable operation and click Print oper cards. You can select several operations at the same time.
- You access Manufacturing order operation card, Printout. Complete the following field:
- Number of copies
- Enter the number of printout copies to be printed, if you want more than one.
Depending on your choice, the next accessed panel will display different information:
All can be viewed by clicking Shift info on the next panel.
Click OK.
Click OK to accept the printing of the operation card. If you have selected several operations for printing you will have to click OK once per operation. The operation cards are printed. Exit the routine.
