The project order can be divided in several phases, where each phase represents a phase in the project life cycle.
Phase status
As you work your way through the different stages in the project order cycle, the system will automatically assign status codes to the project phases. The phase status is related to the connected elements and has the following status modes:
Code | Description |
---|---|
10 | Entered The phase has been registered for the project order. |
20 | Printed The phase has been printed. |
40 | Started Transactions have been reported for the project on element level. |
60 | Completed All element lines are completed and invoiced. |
99 | Closed The phase is manually closed. No more reporting can be done on the phase. |
Note: The project order status is updated to 60 (completed) when all phases are set to status 99 (closed).
Invoice plan
If allowed by the selected project type it is possible to enter an invoicing plan per project phase. See Add an invoice plan to a project phase for more information.
Addresses
You can enter and maintain the delivery address and the end-user address on the project phase level. You can also choose to retrieve the default address for the customer. The project and quotation addresses are retrieved from the Business partner file and can be maintained on either order or phase level.
There are five types of addresses that can be changed:
- The confirmation address is the customer’s postal/visiting address. If a sales order is created this is where the order confirmation document should be sent.
- The delivery address is the delivery address of the project, e.g., the installation address.
- The invoice address is where the invoice document should be sent.
- The debtor address is the customer who is responsible for paying the invoice, i.e. the customer that will update the Accounts Receivable. This is the address to which any payment reminders, statement of accounts or interest notes will be sent.
- The end-user address is an optional address that will be printed on the project printout document.
