Create a project order

  1. Select the Work with projects menu item.
  2. You access Work with project orders. Click Add/Copy to create a new project order.
  3. You access Project/Quotation maintenance. Complete the following fields:
  4. Customer
    Enter the customer of this project or quotation.
    Project type
    Enter a type from the Project/quotation type table. (See Project/Quotation type for information about what the project/quotation type defines).
    Warehouse
    Enter the warehouse for which the project/quotation is entered.

    If the STKOWNER (Stock Ownership) function is activated in the Function control file, the warehouse entered must be classified as a normal or trade (logical) warehouse (i.e. the Warehouse characteristic flag in Work with warehouses must be set to 1 (normal) or 2 (trade).     Dispatch date
    Enter the dispatch date of the project/quotation. The default value is today’s date.
    Project date
    Enter the creation date of the project/quotation. The default value is today’s date.

    Click OK. The project header will be created automatically using the information you have entered on this panel, and instead the phase entry will be started.

  5. You access Phase maintenance. Complete the following fields:
  6. Phase no
    The phase number is created automatically with intervals of 10, but can be changed.
    Item
    Enter an item from the Item file to be used for the invoicing of invoice plans. A default item is retrieved from the Project type table, but can be changed.
    Handler
    Enter the handler of the phase. The value is retrieved from the header, but can be changed.
    Print prices
    Indicate if the detail prices should be printed. The value is retrieved from the header, but can be changed.
    Hide line
    Indicate if a line should be printed. The value is retrieved from the header, but can be changed.

    Click OK to confirm the creation of the new project with one phase. Exit the routine.
