Create and view an on-line report

The following describes how you create an on-line report and how to view the on-line report on your screen.

Create an on-line report

  1. Follow the instructions in Print a report on paper (step 6) with the following exception on the Work with reports, Print selection panel:

    Tick the On-line option.

    Tip: If you want both an on-line report and a report printout to be produced, tick Printer and on-line.

    Tip: If you press F2 you can print the report interactively if the settings for your user profile allow this. You can then view the report directly and save it.

    Click OK to update.

View an on-line report

  1. Select the Display on-line reports menu item.
  2. On the On-line report selection panel, select the applicable report.
  3. You access Report display. You can work with the on-line report as follows:
    • Click Expand to see the detailed information.
    • If you are working in the DC1 DC1 UI Client environment, use the scroll bars to view more header information, line details and more columns. If you are working in the DC1 5250 or JWalk environments, use the other function keys to work with the report.
    • Click Collapse to restore.
    • If you are working in the DC1 DC1 UI Client environment, drill-down to Balance enquiry/Connected report by selecting a line and then right-click to select the enquiry. If you are working in the DC1 5250 or JWalk environments, position the cursor on a column value of interest and press Enter. To be able to drill-down, you must have defined an Enquiry template/Connected report on the Report description.
    • Click Only detail lines to display only detail lines for versions.
    • Click Expand all to expand all for versions.

Exit the routine.
