Report checklist values for service jobs

Related topics

When closing a service job that allows checklist handling (and the conditions for the checklist are met) the checklist reporting panel will be presented where you perform the reporting. All values are displayed during checklist reporting, but those flagged as mandatory must be met in order for a service job to be closed. If the minimum/maximum value range for any mandatory values are not met, or are not entered, you will not be able to close the service job. Any checklist being reported can be saved in an incomplete status, but you will not be able to close the job until all mandatory values are reported with valid values.

  1. See steps 1 through 4 in Close a service order.
  2. Prior to doing the final close of the service order job, you will access Work with service orders, Checklist reporting if the service job allows checklist handling and all the conditions are met. On this panel fill the values in the checklist criteria then choose from the following:
    • Click OK to submit the checklist criteria values and close the service job. When OK is clicked the system validates if the values are entered correctly. If they are the close process can continue.
    • Click Save to save the checklist criteria values filled till now. The checklist will not be submitted and service job will not be closed. For information about other fields on this panel see the Panel help.

Note: If you un-assign an incomplete checklist from this service job, you still will not be able to close the job. You will need to reassign the checklist and complete it before closing the job.
