Accounts Receivable invoices can be updated from a pre-system.

Prerequisites
Transactions with an identity set to AR must exist in your A/R invoice interface file.

  1. Select the Retrieve financial transactions menu item.
  2. You access Interface – transfer to DC1 Financials. The panel lists all established interface types previously set up, which you can now select for transfer. Select the interface type you want to transfer. Tip: You may select several interface types for transfer at the same time. Click OK.
  3. You access Interface – transfer to DC1 Financials with the interface type(s) you selected for transfer. For each transaction that resides in the interface file, that you are transferring to DC1 Financials, you can override the following fields:
  4. Override acct period
If any of your transactions in the transfer files have accounting periods that are closed, the system will show a message with details of that transaction. You must enter a valid accounting period, which will override the accounting period(s) of all the transferred transactions. This override function can also be used if you want to change valid accounting periods, but also want all the transactions to be posted in another period. The system will check the period you enter according to the last closed period for the voucher type, as well as according to the valid range of entry periods defined in the G/L control file.
    Override vou date
You can enter another voucher date to override all the voucher dates for the transactions in the transfer files.

    Complete the following field:

    Journal per intf tpe
Set to YES if you want to create one journal per selected interface type. If you set this field to NO, then all A/R invoices from selected interface types will be gathered into one journal, all A/P invoices will be in a second journal, and the pure G/L postings will be in a third journal.
Note: Journals are always only within one accounting year, so if transactions from more than one year are transferred, one journal per year and type/group will be created.

A message from the system will inform you when the transactions have updated the entries in your journal.
